Wondrous item/Weapon (Rapier), Very rare (Requires attunement) While wearing this magical brooch, you may use an action to speak its command word and transform it into a +1 rapier. The weapon lasts for 1d6 rounds before it reverts to its brooch form. Once used this way, the brooch’s transformative abilities can not be used until the next dawn.
Leon was on the right track. He had acquired a proper disguise and made his way into the duke’s tricentennial garden party. The guards had confiscated his dagger at the gate, but that wouldn’t stop him from achieving his objective: assassinating the duke’s son. To start a revolution, a statement needed to be made, but that wasn’t of Leon’s concern. All he knew was that someone was paying him a lot of coin to end the young noble’s life. As he meandered through the crows, Leon spotted his target and began moving in for the kill. Unclipping his brooch, he whispered to himself, “Thorn.” The deadly blade materialized in his hand, ready for the taste of blood.

Today's magical item is perfect for completing assassinations, or for letting Tammy know just how clever her remark about your formal dress was. I know that one of the tools a dungeons master has is the ability to take away one's weapons in a civilized setting, but if a fighter can spiritually summon their great-axe then dammit, the sneak rogue needs something too!
Thank you for stopping by! There's less than a week left in the Month of Magic. Thank you all for the support and kind words so far.
