Deck of Storage

Wondrous Item, Rare This ordinary looking deck of 52 playing cards has the magical property to store items within its individual cards. By placing a card face up and resting an item weighing 10lbs or less on it, you may speak the command word to draw the item into a pocket dimension within the card. An occupied card may be similarly placed face up, re-summoning the item stored inside by speaking the same command word. If there in not sufficient space for the stored item to summoned into, nothing happens.

The magician began her act by asking for a volunteer to forfeit an item to be transformed. “As yes, the apple you have there will do nicely! Come, place it on the card here,” said the magician. A young girl stepped forward and placed her fruit on the face up card. With a flourish of her hands, the magician shouted, “HAZZLE-DAZZLE,” and the apple disappeared in a puff of smoke. After collecting the card and returning it to the deck the magician began shuffling the cards. Once she finished, she fanned out the cards and requested the young girl choose one and place it face up in front of her. Another flourish and another “HAZZLE-DAZZLE” resulted in a puff of smoke revealing a beautiful doll. The young girl squealed with joy as the magician gave her the doll and continued with her show.

When I saw the bag of holding in the dungeon master's guide I thought to my self, "Man, what if this was just way more inconvenient to use?" As a result I created the Deck of Storage. Jokes aside, I just thought it would be nifty if one could use a deck of cards to summon an item.
