High-Fiving Gloves of Camaraderie Wondrous Item, Rare While wearing these gloves, you may use an action to raise your hand, speak their command word and force a creature you target to make a DC 14 charisma saving throw. On a failed save, the creature runs up to you, completes the high five gesture, and is charmed by you until the spell ends or until you or your companions do anything harmful to it. The charmed creature regards you as a friendly acquaintance. When the spell ends, the creature knows it was charmed by you.

At the top of the tower stood four figures: the noble’s daughter, the elf Quill, and the two death knights that stood between them. Quill had used most of his energy simply getting this far and knew all too well that the foes that stood before him posed an insurmountable threat. If he could just turn the tide in his favor, he knew he could succeed and rescue the girl. A smile crept across his face as a plan formed in his head. He raised a gloved hand and spoke to one of the two knights, “Up high!” The knight slowly approached the elf, raised his armored hand, and smacked the open palm presented before him. The two newly established friends turned to the remaining death knight and raised their weapons, ready to fight.

The magic item for today is a pair of gloves that forces people to high five you, whats not to love about that? I've always wanted an ability to conscript an enemy to fight for you in D&D. It's a bit of an overpowered ability sure, but I figured that if running across the battlefield, acquiring high fives, and brainwashing enemies is wrong then I don't want to be right.

Thank you for checking out the magical item for today, and I hope that you will return again tomorrow!
