Wondrous Item, Rare (Requires Attunement) Depending on what material is in the locket at the time, the wearer may cast the following cantrip at will:
Create Bonfire A piece of charcoal Frostbite A chip of ever-ice Gust The feather of a hummingbird Mold Earth A polished granite pebble Shape Water The scale of a dogfish
The locket is found with one of these material components decided at random
This locket features a hollow glass orb lined with brass, attached to a chain with a clasp. Originally belonging to the druid Mezzalim, this necklace is a testament to his mastery of the elements. Mezzalim disappeared into the woods of Fayrcose, never to be seen again. His locket was left in the hands of druidic circles to be passed along for decades.

Here we are folks! Today is the end of the Month of Magic! As a treat, I've saved my favorite item for last. It may be simple, but the ability to swap out an at-will cantrip by placing a different material component vibes with me very well. Plus, as a DM, having the hook of questing for the different items to use in the locket is very fun.
Thanks to all who have helped along the way during this exercise in creative writing and to all who had kind words to say. The next post will be a retrospective on the experience as a whole!
Keep the creativity flowing!
