Sword of Sparks

Weapon (Shortsword) Uncommon When you make an attack with this weapon, roll a d6. If the result is a 4 or higher, a burst of bright sparks emanates from the blade granting you advantage on the next attack against the target. During a drunken bender, the dwarven smith Darrak created these shortswords en masse. The swords shed the blinding sparks of the forge from which they were made, disorienting enemies unfortunate enough to trade blows with it.

The sword of sparks is one of the first weapons I had thought of for Dungeons and Dragons. A weapon that has a chance to grant you advantage is nothing to scoff at. As for the lore behind this sword, Darrak is a character that is slowly accruing his own mythos within my own world. The idea of a dwarven smith drunkenly forging swords through the night instantly put a smile on my face (thanks for that one Nathan).
