Wondrous Item, Very Rare While wearing this hat, you gain advantage on charisma checks.
“A feather in you cap” as the saying goes. Well this is the cap that has all of those feathers and bows and brooches, it’s got it all in fact! Created by the master milliners of Morthall for the centennial meeting of the artisans, the hats magical charismatic abilities became apparent very quickly. Whether intimidating, persuading, or deceiving, the aura of this hat is bound to change the opinions of others.

Taron's Extremely Fancy Hat is a personal favorite of mine because it comes straight out of a campaign that I DM! During the party's first encounter they needed to cross a hectic bazaar to reach their destination. I used this setting to introduce the concept of skill checks to the players; to make progress they needed to succeed on avoiding distractions by using their set of abilities and rolling high enough. Taron, the party's dragonborn fighter, unfortunately failed on one of these checks and was drawn in to the stall of a particularly charismatic vendor. After some bartering, Taron was now in possession of quite the charming headpiece as well as a significantly lighter coin purse. The effects are simple and powerful but balanced by the lack of the attunement requirement meaning that anyone currently in possession of the item is granted its boons. So keep a tight grip on it or risk, after a successful slight of hand check, having its power used on you!
Once again, thank you for stopping by. Adding a little magic to one's life may be just what they need to keep on going.
